'gratz on your purchase. Make sure you write up an ownership report.

Get it done from the outside. 13k will buy you a fabulous head unit. As long as you get it done from a professional place with no cutting of wires involved, you will be fine.

Find the automatic vs manual thread. It has plenty of tips. No point in replicating all that here.

'gratz on your purchase! Be sure to write up an ownership report.

As long as you get the proper offset, rim size and the tyre profile right (so the rolling radius remains the same), you will be fine. The shop should know the right profile for a specific car.

Technically speaking, they can void your suspension warranty. But this depends a lot on your relationship with the dealership.

Thanks for the help there mate.

I talked to the dealership, they were clueless about upsizing.
Straightaway declared that any change in tyre brand or size will void the warranty. I will follow this up with the GM and the workshop.

mhawks torque is addictive.

The sales guy got a piece of mind, he had verbally promised the bold beige auto to be delivered within 12 days but yesterday said that he can't commit on a date.
So going in for Silver Auto City, which will be delivered tomorrow itself.

warranty becoming void with change in tyre size is understandable but whats with the tyre brand? how can a tyre brand affect any component?

Will post the pics tomorrow, in daylight.

Got new Primacy LC 195/60 R15 with black/chrome alloys. Paid 15k for 4 alloys and 8800 for 4 new tyres after exchanging the stock ones.

The dealership said the warranty on suspension, breaks, steering will be nulled by changing tyres.

Thinking of a workaround, keeping the stock rims and asked the tyre guy to lend me 4 used Michelin Xm1 175/65 r15 tyres before servicing .

Already driven a 100km. Amazing Car, Awesome Tyres. Can't wait for the 1st service, itching to unleash the vtec.

Illuminated keyhole, gearbox and keyring would've been a nice touch, kept fumbling in the dark yesterday.

lovely alloys, but i think would have suited a white, red or black car more. chrome would have suited silver more.
also, i feel the sidewall of the tyre is appearing a bit too much.
