Awesome review and comprehensive too. But I feel Skoda's service and spares is given more flake just like Honda's image. Resale for a stripped 8lac car like the Jazz can never be good.

But otherwise its still a strongly unbiased review. great job.

Hi Sid,

this is a great efforts, thanks for the ready reference for several propective B segment buyers.

i liked your rating system. but i would have preferred that for summary you could have added all the scores you gave in the respective performance indicators and then summarized.

i felt that you jumped the gun to summarize the top cars in the overall conclusion.
Adding the ratings and summerizing would have been a more objective method

+1, echoing Greenhorn's sentiments to an extent of Fiat getting more points on buying and ownership point compared to Vista, I guess the experience of Tata and Fiat owners is same at TASC. Otherwise, good report prima facie.

takecare and drive safely

Great review once again Sid.

Just one small (tiny) correction : Saw ur post mentioning that the PS of Ritz petrol at 79. I think the 79 PS is for Diesel (or is it 75 for diesel ?), the correct figures for Petrol is 85@6000 RPM. Reason why i am pointing out is that the I20 is at 80@5200 and that also makes the Ritz a bit more responsive compared to the I20.

Great report - Waiting for a similar kind of report on sedans (sub-7L). That would be an interesting read.

This is definitely sticky because of the pictorial comparison of most of the features.

Take a bow Sid, kudos to your effort in coming up with such a report, i wonder how you manage to note down all these points during your test drive and come up with an unbiased report. Hoping to have more and more reports and scoops from you.

Awesome reviews! Leaving out the dealer experience, these are the totals:

Hyundai getz: 69/110
Hyundai I20: 78/110
Honda Jazz: 84/110
Maruti Ritz: 71/110
Maruti swift: 70/110
Skoda Fabia: 82/110
Chevrolet Aveo 5: 59/110
Tata Indica Vista: 59/110
Fiat Punto: 78/110

Didn't think we'll see the Vista at the bottom even after taking dealer exp. off. Again Skoda's fine cars are killed by spares and A.**!
