OT: Atleast all you guys can see the temperature. In the Uno, there is no needle for the temperature, only a light that tells you that you have exceeded the temperature. Havent' seen it come on yet, and do not know whether it is even working.
Wouldn't agree with that. My Uno does have a temp gauge which varies as per engine load. When driving without AC, it reaches halfway mark in B2B conditions, but reaches the quarter mark when AC is running or when car is cruising at anything above 70kmph . The only time it went above half-way mark was when the alternator belt broke.

Vijay, I think this is the only whitish color that comes in the GP. The cream that you might have seen should be this color itself.

Take her for a long drive. Open her up occasionally, and as everyone's saying.
The turbo's been given for a reason.
Point noted

What I feel is, this is the only whitish color available on the GP palette.
Infact this morning, there was a white Swift parked next to my car and there was quite a lot of difference. Mine looked a little bit creamish, but still my GP looks nice

Congrats Gods-envy on being the proud owner of the white GP. Can you please post some day light pics of your white beauty? How is the rear seating space? Can it accomodate 3 adults comfortably? One last question for the day -> Howz the stock audio system and did you install tints on sides/rear/front screen? (3M, Llumar or any brand)
Thanks

Thanks Vishwas,
sure, shall take them over this weekend and shall post them.

Rear space seems to be ok, Most of the time its just me and my wife in the car and havent yet got a chance to test the rear seat space.

If you are not an music buff then you can live with the stock system. again, i hear its not viable to change the music system as its connected to the instrument panel, blue and me, et al

I have installed 3M tints on side and rear. Still not installed anything for the front, maybe in the coming months or so.

@gods-envy: Congratulations on your purchase. It sure looks very good in white.

@vishwask82: Yes, I have been in a GP in the rear seat. It can accommodate 3 medium built adults and the ride is quite comfortable even when 3+2 people are travelling in a GP.

Guys, have a quick question about the oil change at 3000kms.

I dropped my car for its first service (3000kms) and I have been told that the engine oil would NOT be changed now, but at 15000kms.
Is it the same with all the GP owners or is this guy trying to take me for a ride?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance, guys.

I was also informed the same and I guess its mention in manual as well (I'm not sure about this).

They just did the top up for engine oil during first service and informed the oil will be changed at 15k KMs (second service).

My GP manual states oil change at 15K. I think 3K service is just checking everything running ok and if you have any initial issues that can be resolved. AFAIK the Oil Change happens every 15k on the GP.
