Jatm3,

The acceleration figures are good, but the braking figure is too good to be true! Great!

But as JKDas asked, any drama during this stopping?

And question: Why the speaker in the engine bay? Two on top but still one more in front? ( Or a auto-cop accessory? )

Way to go Jatm3. Congrats !! In my opinion all diesels ought to be chipped as soon as you have crossed 1K mark. So far my experience has been event free for all the chipping I have done.

Is it only the tuning box or box + Filter combo that Petes always suggests. Your 0-100 numbers are tempting me really hard to ditch my Innova.

We all are waiting for more updates. And that should be available in another fortnight - i.e after the elections are over.

Congratulations, your concerns in the first post made me feel as if you are talking about sub-10lakh SUV's, no doubt Toyota Engine is a gem and will last forever.

But you dont expect concerns with plastics, braking and the gear vibrating like a bus. But being an owner of sub-10lakh one myself, it does give a wicked grin on my face, , ohh!! Toyota.

Which P.A system/Siren are you using Ahuja or Grand?

Hi guys... Happy diwali!!!
I am back from my 8000km trip in a month and a half. Now I will be more active on this thread.

I would also like to propose a comparison between a NON-peted fortunner and mine so that the review may be done more comprehensively.

So anyone in NCR( Gurgaon) with a fortunner , please feel free to PM me.

Congrats on your purchase. I am not sure if I would be brave enough to pete my car within the warranty period.

I look forward to hearing about the comparison with a non peted fortuner.

Re: Got my Toyota Fortuner. Petes installed!

Hi

Do you have update on the car - any problems ? I heard somewhere there are modifications available for Rear Brakes now - Rear Discs instead of Drums from LC ..

Has anybody else Pete'd their fortuner recently?
I would like to know the performance of the car over a period of time and if, does car take a toll on its engine ?

Edit: I got a reply from Petes saying that the tuning box is available with them for 31.5K INR. And that they don't have an air filter replacement for a T-fortuner.
