Guys, its a very long long story, but the base was always Vitamin 'M', Since Sept/Oct-2008 I was planning for new car and preparing budget, then last year during Jun-Jul'09, started reading about fiesta 1.6 and took test drive, was felt in love immediately.

Well if you read my 'I booked my car' thread you will know its City Automatic, So that my wife can drive that too and I enjoy the paddle shifting.

PS.: I hate not being born 7-8 years earlier, due to this I am already getting the 2nd best model of my rides / drives, had to settle for Yamaha RX 135 as RX100 was already stopped, then the Original Zen stopped before I bought the next gen (thank god I am not 2-3 years younger, else I would have ended up buying Zen Estilo), and now ANHC as the real gem OHC Vtec is not produced any more.

The difference between Fiesta and City Automatic is getting paid by my company as a interest free loan, which will get deduct from my salary in EMI over 2 years, I term that forced savings

Just got an update on my order with dealextreme..they have asked for an addl payment of 8.4 USD for air shipment in addition to 13 USD already paid alongwith original order. Guess, this is becos of my request to ship all 3 items in separate packaging to avoid customs issue.

if he opt for DX5032, then he dont need the VX140 hence the difference of 17k he calculating and straight away he can purchase the DX5032 at rs.32k
right nairrji and sanjay, you got my calculations right.
my family is not in a view to replace the stock HU, as per them it matches with the car interiors, so planned for a GPS seperatly, planning to order a VX140 or may be something else.

Oh, have a great time in guruvayur with your fiesta plus your daughter for her first feeding occassion!

So, probably you first going to ambalapuzha and then proceed to guruvayur with the family or you go direct to guruvayur and they come seperately from ambalapuzha (the possibility is the second option -since you are a solo driver?)

No, I am not an employee of Honda, My company gives 'Own Your Transport Allowance' up to 2L or 50% of the Ex-showroom price and this is interest free and is deducted from monthly salary over a period of 2 years, that means 8,333 will be deducted from my salary, that's why i term it as forced savings, as I dont save that much monthly by wish

I had finalized Fiesta but never booked it, Only when the booking time (Jan'10) came, I changed my mind again and finally booked the ANHC Automatic.

Now that ANHC is a done deal, are you going to change your memberid as well?

Congrats on your choice! Expecting to see your ownership thread..post some nice snaps. Particularly, I am waiting to see detailed snaps of the interiors, alongwith a detailed writeup of the features.

Ok..just now saw the list..was not aware that you have put up only the confirmed delivery taken list..smart thing to do? What happened to the "booked/shortlisted but awaiting delivery" list?

So many such lists will spam this thread and MODS may not like it.
So it is better to add the names only after they took delivery of the car.?

since the MMI has got a tie up with Ford, then there must be some benefit while buying a MMI device either from showroom or through MMI, is it so?
has somebody checked the same,
i had a word with the sales guy and he told me to confirm the same.

MMI has tie up with Ford ? Is it something new or it is there for long time. Whatever said and done, dealer prices of all accessories are bit higher than other places, just my feeling from what I glanced through the dealer accessory display area.

Who told you? I never heard such things so far.

YOu can buy directly from MMI or through their dealers (you will get about
Rs.1000 discount). Dont worry about tie up with ford etc and go ahead if you are interested in mmi navigator.
