Friend, what I tried to tell was, the music system gets swtiched off when the ignition key turned off. If you want to continue to hear the music, we have to once again switch on the music system. I think it is a safety mechanism provided. Nice.

Firend, I don't think the gap is provided to prevent dust from going inside the bonnet. For that matter, I have not seen any car having this kind of gap between front wind shield and its plastic beeding. I think this is a mistake from Ford.

A person like me will not find it as a nice feature, because I have an Amp and Sub running from the stock system. So, if my kid pushes the music power button while I am out with the key (kid might be sitting on the mother's lap, but mother doesnt know what will happen next), it might end up me calling up Ford road side assistance for a jump-start. I have never told my wife what I did on the ICE. She can see only a tiny Amp and a small box in the boot, everything else is invisible !

He is Mr. Nair and not fire-end and I think he is more than 15 yrs elder to me, I am to retire after 2 yrs.

I am still scratching my head to find out where this so-called 'GAP' exists in the car ! So far I never found any such irritating gap that can neither collect leaves nor gather mud ! Are you guys using the Fiesta for off-roading by any chance ?

@shajufx

Today you have been laughing loudly/continously - good for health.

Regarding the 'GAP' - I was under the impression that @1968chensaro was talking about the space where the wiper arms were fitted (bottom of the windshield and towards the edge of the bonnet top portion?). But seems he is meant for some other gap which I could not figure out in my car?

Fellow brothern and countrymen, hope all of you have seen atleast the photos of Fiesta 2010, which is already on road in China ! I have around half a dozen pics in my PC, everytime I look at it, my breathing stops for few seconds. I dont dare to think about the present generation re-sale value once that comes on road. No wonder Ford India is selling the ZXI with very minor difference from the SXI now. Somehow I sense even the EXI might be sold with ABS and Music Player soon.

An example: You have a grocery shop which is been in business since 10 years, one day you hear BigBazar is coming 2 buildings next to you within 4 months. Will you try to clear off the stock in 3 months ? Or continue adding brick powder to your chilli powder, white stones to the rice bags etc.?

Let me tell you guys, its much more than what we have seen on the ANHC face-lifted few months back. My cousine who is doing his Medicine in China saw the New Fiesta and got shocked. He was telling if the Ford logo is not there, he would have thought its a luxury car from Lexus. One picture to avoid any confusions here;

I am yet to regain my conscience, the jaw dropping continues and drooling all over the place looking at the new Fiesta. I am praying that this one should not hit India for next 3 years (I cant change my new one by that time). Excellent work by Ford and their "Kinetic facelift" is paying off.

We have no choice than being happy with what we have when face-lifts happen in a particular model, its just signs of changes which we have already witnessed in Honda City, Maruti 800 (I forgot how many face-lifts are already done so far), WagonR, Corolla, Scorpio, Sumo, Innova and many more ! If each face-lift is prompting us to buy a new car, then we have to exchange our car almost every 2 years, which is not practical.

For those who want to know more about the 2010 Fiesta here is a link from a test-drive Test Driven: Ford Fiesta Sedan Review | China Car Times , we also have a seperate thread here running in similar line.

2010 Fiesta was launched in March 2009, here is the link http://www.caradvice.com.au/25167/fo...d-in-to-china/

The Fiesta sedan will go on sale in the first qtr 2010 in the US market. This should be launched in India in the later part of 2010.

Hope Ford brings in the Focus sedan in the next couple of year, just in time when i will be ready for my next upgrade

Somehow I didn't liked the headlamp of 2010 model or may be in pics its not coming up properly because I liked the headlamp shape of our very owned Fiesta model

The barrel headlamp is one of the prime reason I got attracted towards Fiesta & the reason why I decided to buy current model is because I waited for face lifted fiesta & by looking after the new look I regretted for not booking earlier SXI version. So again waiting for its new look could be risk!

The positive thing about fiesta face lift which I consider is that I extended my budget little bit & gone for Diesel ZXI model

I was very much clear about buying Ford Fiesta so I have not taken TD of any other brand. After booking Fiesta, just for fun in my leisure time I took SX4 TD.

2010 Fiesta - IMO, Ford may not introduce the car with same design to India.
In the introduction page it was marked that ''.. new fiesta sdan was initially designed
specifically with chinese consumers in mind''..
So when they come to India, they will have consider the interest/liking of Indian consumers. I still like the design of present fiesta (my pesonal opinion) !
