Really sorry to read your case and problem.
Being a member with TBHP since 2005 and read many complaints about SKODA, its dealers etc you should have warned your dad from going to this car?
A new car with only a couple of hundred kms on the odo, going off like this means
they did not undertake proper quality checking?

They might be able to make good engines and power trains, but what is the use if they overlook critical components? Again, the image of Skoda seems high and it is a big ticket purchase only in India. May be it is an inexpensive brand in Europe.

It is. They're bunched together with SEAT at the lower end of the scale within the VW group
Lambo/Bugatti/Bentley > Audi > VW > SEAT/Skoda

yeah i am a member since 2005.But dude the car was a total surprise.!! if i had known about my dad buying this car i would have definately warned him..! :(

sadly there is are no options available for extended warrenty :(

Yup....i am going to showroom tomo to question the AGM.
Will ask for the intial PDI report.

Yeah actually when we bought the car i searched the forums...and i was keeping my fingers crossed that problems should not arise with my car..but to my horror that happened.
And yes i hope its a minor issue because except for the problem the car is a beauty,total drivers delight.
And yeah as a last measure i was thinking of the court if they state that its a manufacturing defect.

atleast till now they attended me well...lets hope they dont show their true colors.

Hi guys,my laura is still at the showroom.Its been almost 5 days now.
The problem they diagnosed was the clutch oil pipe leakage.
The showroom guy said they have ordered the pipe from Skoda Aurangabad and he said its just 2 hrs work when he gets the pipe.
Hopefully they will receive the pipe today and give delivery of my Tsi today.

I am missing it a lot.Its like she has totally disappeared from our lives. :(

I am really terrified and shocked to read this thread, I have read many SKODA issues in this forum, but this one @220kms is by far the most shocking incident for any car !!

Its a beautiful car and its so painful to see it get towed... anyways, i really hope that its just a 2hr job like they claim and more like a lucky charm for your beauty... after this i hope you have miles and miles of happiness and good times with your Laura !

If your talks with the AGM does not help, why not warn them that you will go to Pune Mirror !! Those guys have been very helpful in many customer satisfaction issues - with a high value car like this, i am sure they would be more than happy to help - but first warn the GMs office that this would be your next step.. they would surely know that if you do go to Mirror, thats the last Laura they sold ! All the best and may you get justice you deserve !
