Congratulations and best wishes, bnzjon, on becoming a proud owner of a powerful Linea T-Jet Plus. Very nice to hear the love story v 2.0. You could have used the same ash-tray of your previous Linea, if you had retained it when disposing of your previous Linea.

Enjoy your jet.
Vijay, the pictures bring out the stark contrast in colour difference but in flesh you dont find much of a difference. You need to look closely to see the difference.

The difference is evident only in the pictures.

Infact, the steering leather is little rough (than the smooth finish of earlier cars) for better grip. I like it for the grip.

Apart from those i had mentioned earlier, the significant differences are
1. Improved plastics. Infact the plastics have soft grains which gives a luxurious feel to the cabin.
2. Even panel gaps - both interior and exterior

Cost cutting - the following are missing from my previous linea
1. Ashtray
2. Cigar lighter
3. Tools come in a pouch tied to one corner of the boot instead of the neat thermocool packing under the spare wheel.-

Thanks Madhu. The decision should be correct because i traded my 1.5 year old 1.4 NA petrol for the TJet. I am happy with the decision and enjoying to the T. Its a fun to drive machine.

Hope the fun continues forever.

Re: Fuelled FIRE into my (T)JET

Congrats bnzjon for your T-Jet.

I am very much tempted to buying it now itself.
I was one of the strong advisor to Sathya to buy t-Jet rather Civic/City.
we had some 1+ hrs call and after some days he finalized and booked his T-Jet.
I referenced him to fiat and got a MMI LX130 GPS System for free

I'll be join in your group very soon if everything is going as per my wish.

Let's see.

Enjoy the beauty and will arrange a meet soon.
Please check with Sathya & Aswin.

Enjoy and Drive Safe

Re: Fuelled FIRE into my (T)JET

Congrats bnzjon for the flying machine and welcome to the club !..

Well the pledge you have taken for run-in (<2500 rpm) is a no surprise to hear, and it will be no surprise again if you say you broke it LOL !..

All of us are live examples here. I have done 3000 kms now, and really do not remember when did I forget the run-in thingy.

@bnzjon: We are still waiting for pics. I am sure something very critical must be keeping you busy, otherwise this thread would have been flooded with great pics already.

Thanks Karthik. Am sure you will soon own the Jet. I can see all indications of that.

Will plan for a meet and spin during last week of March.

I was out of chennai and was attending a business conference at Jaypee Golf club, Noida since wednesday. Landed in Chennai just an hour back.

The photoshoot is scheduled for next weekend and all depend on my friend & wild life photographer. Hope he would get good clicks of this beast.

Re: Fuelled FIRE into my (T)JET - The Fiat Linea T-Jet

BNZJON, Had opportunity to TD Tjet at Balaji Cars, Thane over the weekend. Felt as if I was driving a completly differnet car. MJD and 1.4 FIRE feel like tortoise in front of T-Jet. The low end pick-up and power was simply mind blowing.

After TD I could appreciate and understand your choice better. Want to congratulate you once again for the briliant choice. It's a total drivers car full of driving pleasure and fun. Hope she serves you for a long long time.
