Lovely plan,am glued!Just an afterthought,isnt the sunset at Marvanthe more glorious to see than the one at Murudeshwar?The setting is perfect with the sea on one side,the river on the other and the NH17 in between the twoHave a safe trip.

+1 to that. Did they know each other before the Manipal days? Or did they accidently bump into each other in Dollops, Downtown or Sphynx?
The mystery is certainly building up . Or better still he would have visited KMC to get the free dental checkup done by KMCs promising dentists.

GR8! Me too driving tomorrow. But I will go via Shimoga though! So morning If I see 3 cars rushing towards my car, I shall make a way! Plan to reach Hasan in 3 hours? Unless you race this would be tough! Me too coming back on 16th afternoon. Mostley we meet in Shiradi ghats (I am starting from Surathkal)!

The weather in Udupi is hot, no sight of clouds or rain (so says my father). But you never know! That shouldn't dampen you spirit!

Now downtown has moved to Alevoor road and DeeTee has taken it's place. But it is true that MIT students have poor rating compared to KMC students. Many a landlords/hotels wouldn't entertain MITians while they accept KMC students.

UB and N met in Manipal through some common friends.
It was a free eye checkup and not a dental checkup

This whole thread sounds just amazing; any mention of MIT, Manipal and especially in a road trip is music to the ears!

There are so many Manipal folks here on T-BHP. I'm tempted to try arrange a common road trip!

The story sounds like the guy is from MIT; if true, it is a classic example of him living the classic MIT dream (in Russell Peter's words)!!

Many people from my batch tried alliances with almost anyone from across the road in the 1st year. The only criteria was, she should be from the other side of Tiger Circle. MCOAHS was the hot favourite in my batch.

Couldn't agree more. Turtle Bay beach has a nice setting.

If so she is one of my friend and i am invited for the wedding too.though i doubt i can make it.anyone for the reception at Mangalore the next day?
