Karni Mata indeed blessed us with the sighting of three white rats. While all this was happening, an emotion which I cannot express in words filled my mind, I thanked Karni Mata for her kindness and consider the occassion as one that I will never forget in life. We got a nice gentleman who took us through the story. By 19:30hours we started our journey to Bikaner, where we were booked for the night in Karni Bhawan Palace continued... |

Karni Bhawan Palace is an Art Deco Building built by Maharaja Dr. Karni Singh Ji of Bikaner as his private residence. Royal Retreats In Bikaner Rajasthan - Karni Bhawan Palace | Forts, Palaces and Heritage Hotels in Rajasthan India- HRH Group of Hotels The Palace belongs to HRH group of Hotels under Shriji Arwind Singh of Mewar.  We were booked into the three suites at first floor, and the floor was entirely for us. We reached the hotel by 20:30 hours. We were welcomed with the traditional flower garland. We were quickly given the rooms and in no time we freshened up and assembled for the dinner. The Dining hall. This was once a film projector room of the Maharaja  We were all happy with the roayal treatment that we got here   The Rajasthani thali with lal maans for me   I was told the utensils were of silver, but I was too hungry to have even noticed it  Dessert in the Desert  We wanted to finish dinner earliier as it was Christmas eve and the kids wanted some time to write letters to Santa and to put their socks for gifts under the Christmas tree. The Hotel had a huge Christmas tree  We too had our small one in first floor. The kiddies kept their socks and letters to Santa  PPGs told a little prayer. Thanked God for the year that it was and asked for forgiveness fo any mistakes they had done. They also wished Santa gifts them with gifts they wanted, and they hit the bed. It was almost midnight by the time I retired. It was a cozy night with a heater for comfort.  Felt very nice at the hotel, it was comfortable, nice service and comfotatble rooms. I wake up to these high decible excited screams of the children. It seems Santa has indeed come and gifted them. I go out of my room to the Christmas tree. Kiddies checking out Santa's Christmas gifts  Jr. PPG is very excited  Sr. PPG too is excited, she can't believe her eyes!  Santa had read their letters, and gifted them gifts of their choice. Kids were very happy and thanked Santa for his gifts. You just have to believe in Santa, the key thing is BELIEVE After the kids excitement level died down, we got back to our rooms. Wifey and PPGs at our suite   It was of two big rooms, a dressing room and bathroom. It was an absolute luxury continued... |

Immediately outside the hotel, these guys catch my attention. I've lost my beloved doggy Dashy to a terminal Cancer. I am kind of attracted to all these wonderful creations of God.
