The Yeti lived to narrate the story to us. Thats good enough ending for me!

Way to go, Sam.

That was just amazing. I think it was one of my best reads.
Im not an avid reader but that was fabulous.

Im sure you will someday have many many more travels and may god keep you safe while experiencing all that life has to offer.

EDIT: It WAS my best read. Bonus being i got to hear it from the writer himself.

I know adults dead from scorpion bites in upper parts of the body. and an unfortunate incident when a kid died complaining of stomach ache, after feeling well for 24 hrs after the bite. Does anybody know how the poison works after 24 hrs?

So the amazing travelogue comes to a conclusion. Sam, only you can hold the readers glued to their seats without props like photographs. In other travelogues, people often ignore the text and see only the photographs. Your journey that started with pimpin your ride is going great guns.

BTW, the title may be contested by the makers of Pirates of the Caribbean. It is very similar to The day you almost caught Jack Sparrow.

Sam, Yetis arent supposed to be in the desert. They're supposed to roam the Himalayas.

The scorpion was nature's way of fighting back

Another plot-line for the alternative-endings department...

Sam disturbs his GF telling the scorpion it isn't going to get its payoff because it didn't do the job properly!

(hey, no offence to the GF; this is fiction, ok? )

It was a great tale, Sam. In fact, as it was a scorpion sting, I suppose it was a tale about a tail!

(Sorry, not original; one of Beatrix Potter's books is subtitled a tale about a tail)

Another great YetiBlog® by the Yeti

Btw I am surprised they had no arrangements in the tour if there are so many Scorpians?

Was the fire the main reason? In any case I belive you guys had extinguished it before going to sleep right?

Bwuaaaahhh. God, this is awful. Good beer wasted like this.

My favourite Rock band? Is he crazy? It's Black Sabbath with Ozzy of course! The best thing to come out of Birmingham since Chicken Tikka masala!
These are classic jokes. I love it too. Expected from a writer like Sam. It's these inserts that make Sam's stories so interesting and addictive. Cheers Sam !!

Sam whatever happened to the Spanish beauty? How did you "repay" her kindness. I mean how often does someone come up and says "Is okay I suck you???

PS That had to be THE scene of the whole scorpion episode. No movie I ever saw had something so hilarious, not even Monty Python

Come to think of it if ever you decide to embark on a career in entertainment an Indian version of the Monty Python series would be a riot. Go for it Mr. Kapasi

Considering you have so many fans amongst us BHPians we could all probably get together and film a Sam Kapasi spoof just for kicks!
