Fantastic shot of the birds. Lovely. You have been able to use the right amount of light for the shots.

Thanks so much for the comments guys. Really appreciate it.

@neoranjith: I would love to, please PM me when such meets are happening. I am a member of the Photographic Society of Madras, but not much happening on the online forum there?

Off topic but you can possibly consider a tighter crop for that.
I just tried a tighter crop guess its too tight

Wonderful pictures!! I cannot stop looking at them. I cannot wait to get out of this concrete jungle, Bangalore to be precise.

Your car looks great and shining, Is it effect of the camera or polishing?

I think your signature needs to be updated with SX4.

Truly amazing work with the Telephoto lens.
Did you use the 18-55mm lens for all your landscape pics?
Somehow I can't believe that the wildlife and landscape came from same 40D. Your wildlife stuff is so perfect and landscape pics are more like a P&S.
Is it the 18-55mm lens spoiling your landscape pics or you just clicked some lazy shots?

Thank you, yes i used the 18-55 mm for the landscape, the wild life pics are really good because of the L glass. the landscapes well are taken with a marumi polarizer on, i dont know if that's affecting the quality to some extent. I worked to get the maximum out of the 18-55, dint take any "lazy" shots as such.

Which pics are noticeably bad do let me know, then probably i can tell you what the reason was.

Owl? Do you mean the juvenile Hawk Eagle (or did I miss any Owl picture)?

@Redrage. What are you using for post processing? Or are you using the built in JPEG engine in the camera?
The picture quality is very good. IMHO, the colours seem a bit unreal. More blue. See, if you get different set of pictures after you use a different PP software (in case you are using built in). Of course, I am assuming you shoot raw.
Now Palaniappa Estate will be in my list of places to be visited. Thanks for the great write up and excellent photography
