Thanks. I did a Google maps and figured out. BTW the NH13 seems to a long road ~700Km from Solapur to Mangalore.

@HVK How heavy is it in terms of usage? Mostly I have heard Hampi going folks from Bangalore talking very bad about this NH. Does'nt it come under any NH program for betterment?

kolhapur to mumbai

we woke up early as we ha to get darshan of ambabai kolhapurs presiding deity who is also my family deity.

visions of long unending queues made me nervous.

we went towards the temple which is congested part of kolhapur. we were directed towards a parking plot which was far away from the temple. for INR20 the parking lot attendant promised us a parking slot in vip parking actually it was free parking but i had to lose INR20 according to wish of goddess ambabai.

surprisingly the temple had scarce crowds and lo behold we directly walked into sanctum sanctorum!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was a little upset the earlier day as instead of staying at belgaum we drove down to kolhapur as folks wanted to have darshan.images of long queues kept haunting me and today was a divine intervention.

i realised that when your time for darshan has come it will happen just as in this case goddess ambabai had literally drawn us towards her doorstep so that we mortals could seek her divine blessings.

the temple made of black granite has tremendous positive energy emanating which you can appreciate when crowds are absent.

in a happy mood and with the prayer "kolhapurchi ambabai tu mala pav" we left kolhaputr to join nh4 on our return leg we drove continuously till the second food mall on the expressway.

thereafter the journey into mumbai was very smooth with very little traffic as we entered mumbai on sunday.

overall it was a magnificent first hand experience of magical monsoon of karnataka.what i thought great about karnataka as a state was great clean food less population and forests that still have and give you hope that conservation can succeed.

Your videos, for a second, teleports us to fresh rainy days that Bangalore once enjoyed. Thanks to uncontrolled growth and missing trees, we are praying rain gods to arrive soon in Bangalore.

dear anandg thanks for comments on videos.
bengaluru is a favorite sdestination for mumbaikar like me.having visited it multiple times when grown up, i wish bengaluru of the old which i visited as a toddler comes back to us again.
the earlier description of the old world charm of bengaluru is given by my parents to me even today.
hopefully some places have still remained the same.
