Hi,

The road is bad only in patches but drivable. Other than the two falls there is nothing much in that area. Shivasumadram has a resort at the view point which has a small play area for kids but I am not sure if non residents (of the resort) can use it.

Visited it on 27th September. Took the Kanakpura route. Really good roads.
