From Bangalore: Bangalore, Hosur, Krishnagiri,, Salem, Karur, Trichy, and the remaining as above.

Surprisingly the locals arent aware of this place called Danish Fort. I have traveled to Karaikkal and also stopped at Tranque Bar to inquire about the Danish Fort and none of the locals seemed to know the place.

Looks like am gonna go treasure hunting next time I travel to Velankanni for this place.

Thanks rjstyles69, i know photos wont do justice to the place, especially in the eyes of good photographer like you. NExt time around this place, ask for the beach, the fort is on the beach, the same is being maitained by ASI. As you cross the gate please take a good look of the gate also as this too is quite old!

Shishir:thanks for the reminder, was bit held up at home and work

These are some of the photos that were taken on a previous visit to the place, during that time there was a cyclone and there were beach police chasing people who were going to the beach. Check out the photos. Will post the remaning soon.

Hey check out the tide, it was high tide. This incedent reminded me not to go to the beach with an umbrella when its raining, i had a tough time holding it together that i thought better to get wet and i did!

Shishir, see no waiting, i am posting. I hope you are enjoying the pictures.

In between the taking pictures, the phone went into black and white mode. It was a touch screen model and so i must have touched some other mode. And all the beach photos, i hadnt seen the screen as it was very bright and sunny that day

Ya i love travelouges,but due to some financial constraints i am not able to but a car of my dreams(but i am running on my dad's car). By next year end (after i buy mine)every week there will be a travelouge in my name
