I would suggest ritz owners to stick with 185 section tyres, cause these 195 are a mm or 2 outside the wheel arches.
Even the 7 inch rims are a bit thick

There's a big problem though :Frustrati

The ES100s have made the car ultra bouncy.
I checked tyre pressure, but its proper.

Its just that, the ES being high performance tyre, its got a stiff sidewall,
another thing is that the 195 section seems a bit too much for the ritz to handle. The car just doesn't feel good now

I have been running these tyres on my palio for 4 years now, never had any problems, but the ritz just cant take it it seems.

I m thinking of changing to A drives 185/65 R15. but 185 section requires 6.5 inch rim width, and i am running 7 inch. so cant do that too.

i guess i will have to stick with 195/60 R15

the ES100s have just 30 km on them.

What would be the price i might get for them. please:

Go to the same guy, your tyre fellow, and ask him nicely na. Only 30 km and it'll be ridiculous if he doesnt give you good value for them. Infact, they're NEW !! Ask for it to be adjusted against the new set.

And wise decision, yes. If you're not comfortable with the car, then you're not going to have peace of mind for a while if you persist with this set, till you get used to it.

After a bit of in detail study,

i have somewhat come to the conclusion that, as per my earlier experiences, the tyre is not the culprit.

Its the rim.
A 7 inch rim is a bit wide for 195 tyre, this does not allow the sidewall to flex much and hence a harsher ride.

Now, the best part is, i can convince the tyre guy to change the rim cause it doesnt have any wear on it.
Lets see how it goes, i'll keep you' updated

superb blend of alloys and car. Looks very good.

Better change the alloys to provide a nice ride and enjoy your car. maybe you would lose some money, but it would be worth it.

How sure are you mate ? Can you post the manufacturing date from the tire here. kp and ishaan where art thou folks when we need you most ?

Jalsa -- Why are you saying its the tyres (or the width of the rims) responsible for this when you have upsized to 15"ers on a Ritz?

Right away let me say that 7-inch is WIDE!
Infact its the outside limit for a 195/60R15 tyre (ideal would be 6-6.5").

Rehaan, this is one of the dumbest decisions i have made. Sometimes impromptu decisions can really backfire. :deadhorse

Also, good that i realized my mistake very early, or i would have a lot of suspension trouble on the car going forward

Can someone please tell me the stock rim sizes on the Ritz ZXi and Linea Emotion.

I am interested in the widths.
