That Fortuner looks a bit cheap!

will changing to such a size hamper the off road abilities of the Fortuner?

Yes. Torque will decrease considerably. However, these cars are rarely taken offroad.

also the lower profile of the tyre will damage the el cheapo looking alloys big time during an OTR.

Hey everyone. There are some great wheels on this thread. I first became a member of team-bhp looking for a review for the beat. Browsing through this thread is what made me lust for alloys on my car. So i finally got my set of wheels and here are the pics. And i guess this must be the first beat upgraded to alloys on the forum:)

Momo corse 14" alloys
Continental cec3 165/65
On the Chevrolet beat LS

You definitely need fatter tyres, buddy!

That Fortuner looks bad and cheap with those wheels, bad choice for a nice looking machine.

Rotate the wheels and see if the problem persists.

You are forcing me to post better pics of my ride:D. 100% Credit goes to Nikhil for suggesting and sourcing the wheels, I just paid the money that's it.

Hey Guys, Im pretty new to TBHP but very old with "Infatuation for Cars" !!

Model - Santro Xing '07 (Limited Edition)
Alloys - 15" Versace alloys
Rubber - 195/45/R15 Nankang Tyres
Cost - 32K :D

Welcome to TBHP.

I think this is first santro I have seen with 15 inchers and 45 profile.
Howaz the ride quality, pretty harsh/stiff, I suppose!!!

BTW, good design on wheels, goes perfectly well with the car.
