My swift with 16" vossen reps. Running 205/50/16 a drive R1 Tyres. Total damage 52k for set of 4.
Hello all
Decided to downsize the alloys from 17 inch to 16 inch on verna 4s as ride was harsh and there were small rattles. So went for momo next 16 inch alloys and apollo acellere tyres 205 55 R16. I got a great deal on tyres as they were discontinued around 2 years back i think and they were brand new tyres. I checked tyre thoroughly, they were soft and there no sign of rubber aeging.
S10 with Punto's "Graphite Grey" alloys!

Those look awesome !
What other modifications did you have to do to fit in those rims. Have you added Spacers ? Also, how is the ride quality on good or bad roads or under full load in car.
Spotted this XUV5OO Automatic on 17th May at Hotel Highway King, Neemrana at Jaipur Delhi Highway. Alloys are Plati.
I own a 2015 Maruti Baleno Alpha Diesel and experimented a lot with different alloys even size wise to wider tyres to low stance alloys.
Posting pictures of all the alloys with details for people to know
Alloys No 1 are MOMO REVENGE 100 PCD 16inches on Stock tyres 195/55r16 Apollo Alnac 4G
Alloys No 2 are VOSSEN CVT REPS made by Plati on Stock tyres 195/55r16
Apollo Alnac 4G
Picture 3 Switched tyres to PIRELLI P7 CINTURATO 205/55r16
Picture 4 went beserk and shove 18inch VOSSEN CV3 Reps Wrapped in 225/40r18 on the Baleno
Picture 5 is the problem that came with a low profile tyre and such a wide rim led me to downsize and go for 17inch VOSSEN CV3 reps in 215/45r17 Bridgestone Potenza RFT
Picture 6 are now HRS H461 MATT GRAPHITE wrapped in Pirelli P7 Cinturato 225/45r17
Picture 7 is MOMO HYPERSTAR EVO wrapped in 225/45r17 pirelli later swapped by 205/50r17 luccini buono sport due to size and screetching problems
Picture 8 i had tried everything i wanted now,my main motive became comfort hence i bought Ciaz OEM 16inch alloys and got 205/55r16 Michelin Primacy 3ST and that ends my post
Have a nice day all of you.
Those AMG style rims look swell. Lends it an A-class'ish look if I may. :D

Woah
Harmansingh09, I am quite sure even Maruti Engineers would not have experimented with so many wheels/tires during the design of the car buddy :Shockked:
All in all, I think you seem to have finally settled into the most vital aspect of rim/tire shopping in India, COMFORT!!!
Wish you a happy motoring and keep posting more pics.

+1 to
Gannu.
Personally
Harmansingh09, I think you must go back to these AMG style rims, if you can manage to source them in 16"s. They really look suave to say the least clap:
The one's everybody is talking about is MOMO HYPERSTAR. I wanted to go for them in 16's but seeing how a low profile tyre lends the look of these rims changed my mind. Small rim would not look the same. It looked like an sx4 alloy if seen from far.

And let me guess, you are the owner of an alloy wheel store! :D lol:
It took me all of 15 minutes to go through your post and understand the different wheel+tyre combinations.
Anyway, the 18" Vossen Reps would be my pick. In pictures at least, they look swell. On the road though, it would be a different matter altogether. And I strongly feel you should have continued with Momo Revenge 16" than Ciaz alloys.

Hi, Thanks a lot bro. I have done no other modifications to fit these. did not feel the need for any spacers or any other mods. Have a complete suspension upgrade planned out though. i haven't faced any rubbing or any other issues as the car has a maximum of 2 passengers in it otherwise just me solo. ride quality has become a bit harsh but not bone jarringly so. just did a 1100km round trip around himachal with 16's and didn't face any problems.
hope this helps.

Post the Creta alloys also. Have seen your posts in another forum, and the alloys are great.
