Ritayan,

If 2850 is the price then for 5 tyres it comes to 13,000/- & not 9500/-

Maybe I missed something inbetween the lines.

Guys.. seeing your genuin concern on the deal, I went back to my dealer today to clarify the whole deal. Told him the deal is done i am not going back on it and he can tell me the truth, whatever it is. This is his story, true or not you guys decide. The had got a set of 185/65/14 Energy for a swift upgrade as per the request of his customer. Then when the customer got his VDi somenoe told him it is the wrong upsize and he should go for 15" 205/50. This was on of the very first VDi's in pune. This guy was now stuck with these 185/65 which are not that fast moving stocks. So when I came along and asked for the size he was happy to off load them to me on a discount as i was looking for 4 tyres only, his catch was 5 tyre set. and he also managed to sell my old JK's run 17 k with the spare brand new never touched the ground for 1200 a piece to a indigo cab operator

I hope the story adds up now what say guys.

Speaking from my past experience, if you want the best performance, nothing comes close to Yokohama, on or off road, they consistently do superb in show room stock races across the world and their street tires are nothing short of race tires with tread. The A008P was OEM to Porsche 911 turbo, its asymetrical design was unique and only this tire could tame the brute power and tail happy character of the 911 turbo.

something's wrong somewhere...
Both the size's(185/65-14 & 205/50-15) mentioned for the Swift are wrong..Infact they are Baleno's upsizes...

Hi! Kpzen,

The tire in question is Jk's 165/80 R14 which retails for 1300/- in gurgaon. Atleast this is what one dealer quoted me when I enquired about the prices. And they take the same tire back at the price ranging in b/w 800-1000 from a new car.

I am looking forward to exchange tires on my Swift as soon as it is delivered and was getting quotes from various dealers.
