Make more sense to me as the tyres i saw at Honda had ZR written on them, and the sidewalls were as hard as they get.

i think federal tyres suck...!!!
the yokohamas avs-es100 or the bridgestone re-711 or hankook ventus k 102 are much better...
ask any performance car driver in blore and he will swear by these 3 brands and dont even touch federal

to add my "2" pence worth:
1. had put the federals FD1 pattern, with 13 inch esteem rims, on my 2001 mpfi zen, in december 2003 and the car has done over 15,000km since then. I was/am quite happy with the performance
2. I put the 195/60 FD1 pattern federals on my Fiat Petra 1.6 (a review of which is pending from my side) in august 2004. I have done about 7,000km on those tyres. VERY happy. i had done a wet drive from Ankola to Hubli on those tyres in september. The second half of that stretch (about 70km) we did in under 45 mins on those tyres. Didnt squeel or skid even once!!!

please go through the link to know more about federal tyres. FEDERAL TYRES - PROFILE

i recently change my palio tyres to federal 185/55/R14 earlier one was 175/65/R14 bridgestone. Now i feel lot of difference in driving feel. with this federal tyres i feel like drving a sports car. it hugs the road even in slippery road/wet road.

I too have Federal ss595 for my OHC vtec. The size is 195/45 R15
My car have stiffened suspension, used federals very well with that setup for more than a year without any problem, am very happy with its performance.

Now I want my next set, i badly need the same tyres in same size.
Can someone help me in sourcing them??
