Try Aura and Neo Wheels if you want the mental peace of having a product with warranty. But believe me no such thing exists. All these giys would do if you go to them with a damaged or cracked up rim is to tell you that you must've hit a pothole or breaker at very high speeds and hence the damage. I haven't seen a single chipped/cracked wheel being replaced under the "structural damage" clause of thier warranties. You could look at imported wheels which would give you much wider window of choice in respect to designs available.

Chanapli,
Please visit LoAutoX shop (Chameleon) opposite to Mico-Bosch Front gate, Audugodi (From Forum it's less than a km towards MG road), He's got very good collection of alloys over 150+ Designs displayed. Speak to Rakesh there he should be able to help you out.
Alternatively Visit AUTOSHOP, #432, Near Someshwara Temple, 1st main, 7th Block, Kormangala, Bangalore-95. PH-41104109 Kumar/Suraj.
Thanks,
Naveen

Thanks a lot WasavaTyres & mega5918.

I would also like to take opinion from existing Bolero owners using Alloy wheels and feed back about them. I know I have to invest ~25-40K for five wheels. Because Bolero is a heavy vehicle when compared with cars, I dont want to put a local/duplicate ones which may go bad easly.

The other thing is if someone has standard price lists and list of different manufactures before I visit any dealer it would be very helpful. ( So that I wont get carried away with their sales talk!)

I am not sure. But have seen their work in last two "Vahan yathra". I think they do complete work by themself [like a TV Program "Overhaulin" in "Travel and Living" ].

@MC Mayank
Well LoAutoX just sells the alloys (Auto Accessories), if you want the tyres also fitted then he just sells Yokohama Tyres. The guy who refered me to this shop has over 8 Cars/SUV's Alloys bought from this place and no problems till date. Will find out if there is ny thing as such n post it here.
Thanks,
Mega

chanapli,
15" alloys are prices @ 21K~23K max based on my enquiry on JC road and other 10 odd shops, Even if you buy Neo they'll cost not less than 21K no Idea abt Aura.
Thanks,
Mega

mega5918,
I [am dumb] guess for heavy vehicles such as Bolero you need special Alloy ( not one used in sedans) That may be the difference in price?. Mahindra dealer asks 35K for "Plati".

Nikhil_singal,
thank you for the input. but dont have finance for 20 inch rubber now.
My 15" Michelin tubeless is just completed 10K.

Chanapli

Did you buy the alloys finally. I am looking at buying a bolero sportz this month. Test drove an slx, found the initial pickup little sluggish.(63BHP!!) The new series is with an MDI engine with a Turbo charger. If yours is a 2004 model it should be a peugeot engine right?? I have plans for the alloy wheels too. Checked with a known source in JC road, he was mentioning it starts ar 24k For HR alloys!

Chanapli,
Just back from the alloy shop picked up 5 Alloys for my Baleno, Bolero's Alloys Are Priced @ about 24K for non chrome 1's and 26K for cromed 1's (15X6.5+)... U can negotiate a bit on them.
Thanks
