About Alloys Width and offset etc. specification what I read and heard from few experts in Mechanics is If we go for new alloys with stock tyres choose Indian alloys like Aura because Aura is manufactured keeping vehicles sold in India. so alloys and tyre suit very well.

If we go with imported alloys use stock tyres if its perfect fit else buy better upgraded tyre.

For safari Aura has good couple of designs I saw that when I searched for good alloys for my Innova. Plati and League alloys are very good ones as well If we plan to buy imported alloys. This Sai Mag wheel website is very good one I have seen has lot of varieties.

Hi Samurai, In your case since you go with Michellin 255/65 R16 7.5 or 8inch width alloys are fine. You will be in optimum width if its either 7.5 or 8 inch. I feel Steeroid can help since he has alloys I guess on his Safari.

Also Godfather has similar spec. Hankok tyres on his stock RIMS he has no problems. I am sure you can pick best one based on looking into all these aspects.

Regards,

Ravi.

PS I have seen 2 colors in white shade on Safari, choose the right one because one white shade look shiny like metallic and other looks plain white. White safari is good choice.

The other one is arctic white, non-metallic. I am choosing pearl white.

though i don't exactly know the size, i had to cut some part of the front bumper and also few extra adjustments. The same was done to another safari, which changed its alloys before mine at the same place.
I feel it is better to check on the size and get something exact before going for it. Yes, my wheels protrude a bit though now very much.

Good choice, the non-metallic white would make it look sad. Pearl White is nice but make sure you have the bumper & cladding painted too, it looks more complete that way IMO.

Rudra sir, last I knew he was interested since he had liked an HR alloy which he wanted to put on his truck. How do I know? Well I was with him when he chose the alloy!

Looks great! Any problems with 8" rim, is it allowing you to make full turn in both direction as in stock wheels?

Steer, these are the alloys. They are from Hijoin or HR. I've seen a few Safari's with these and they look really good.

RIGHT. They're for sale NOW. I'm buying those alloys after Rudra demonstrated how good they look.
