I would say stay with 7.5J(width), however if you want them really wide then 8J it is and 160PCD. With the stock 235 width of the tire it will be an overkill to go 8J. You can check the available designs here.

Hi Harish,

For alloy wheels, why don't you visit Sai Mag wheels this weekend, very close to your place.

You may still get 70% - 80% of the value for your tyres, then what you would have got the very next day of delivery. Also other brands like Yokos and Michellins will be value for money. Both the tyre shops are next to each other at Arya Samaj Road, Karol Bagh.

Cheers!

thats a very valuable information about the width. The link you provided however is not working.

Hey Irish,

That's the first thing i did after i bought the beast as my previous 2 cars have alloys bought from there only.

Here are few designs that i saw there however the rates are pretty steep and also its very inconvenient to take the alloys from there to a different shop and get them fixed there.

If nothing works out then i would have to go for Sai Mag alloys.

If you are looking for suggestions then I would advise for the alloys in second picture. Ultimately you have to finalize it.

Cheers!

Re: Alloys for Safari Dicor

Guys, Harish Nayak would have finalized the set of alloys for his Safari by now.

Don't know why but I am sure he has NOT chosen any (pics above) of these.

Cheers!

Please share the cost per alloy. Which brand? Doesn't look like OEM brand.

Cheers!
