Good to know you're enjoying the new tyres! Also do post a long term review for the benefit of our members.

P.S. Just for everyone's information PP2 is being launched in India in 14" sizes like 185/60, 195/60 very soon! No need to but the PP1 then!!

Hi Reign of chaos,
I have just booked my cedia (sports - RED). On seeing your posts, I have also decided to change the tyres. I am gonna change to the same tyres as yours. The dealer is quoting 5800 per tyre in Hyderabad and is giving me 2800 for the Potenzas.
Is this ok? What were the other options you evaluated and how did you choose this one? You do seem to be very satisfied with this, right?
Thanks a lot,
Subha

Blue - For upsizing the tyres on your car refer to this thread:

Correct upsizes for your car are:

Options in these sizes are:

am going to buy 205/50 R15 wheels here theyll be PP2's or Yokohama's AS01...
i asked 2 dealers here..

1st guy said --->
205/50 R15 Michelin PP2 - 5900/tyre
205/50 R15 Michelin MXV8 - 5320/tyre
205/50 R15 Yokohama AS01 - 4500/tyre

2nd guy says --->
205/50 R15 Michelin PP2 - 5400/tyre
and said will check the new rates for the yokos...

so clearly guy no.1 is fleecing me!! cause he also said he'd take my stock RE88's for 2700 a piece and guy no. 2 offered me 3000 a piece.

so tell me what should the avg. pricing be like?? i don't have much of a clue here.. are the yoko's significantly cheaper??

205/55 R15 is the right size for you dear. Please avoid 205/50 R15 ..

215/55 is the right size. 205/50 and 205/55 both will give speedo error. 205/60 will give a lower speedo error than 205/55.
