Lancer Cedia : Tyre & wheel upgrade thread

I'm looking for better rubber for my Lancer Cedia. The stock rubber is 195/60 R15 Bridgestone Potenza S322. I saw one or two cars with GIII but I was not one of the lucky ones :(. I intend to keep the stock alloys for now. I'm a complete newb in this area. Could some tyre guru tell me what are my options to upgrading rubber?

If you wish to retain the original wheels the options you have are:

205/60-15
215/55-15

If you're prepared to change the wheels as well your choices are:

195/55-16
205/50-16
215/50-16

205/45-17
215/45-17

P.S. The ctock tyres are not S322's they are Potenza RE88's.

The stock tyres are Potenza RE-88. Since your keeping the original alloys go for the 2 tyres sizes recommended by Iraghava in 15".

Tyres Michelin Energy XM1(good ride, decent handlin), Potenza G-III(good handling decent ride).

Theres also Yokohama AVS-ES100 again good handling and decent ride.

Dont think GIIIs are easily available in Bangalore at the moment.

Try to get Yokohama AVS sport or Michelin XM1 in 15"..The correct sizes have been mentioned above by Ishan

Yup my mistake... its RE88. I'll look for the suggested brands. Any good place to start/ Whats the indicative price of these and how much do you think i'd get for my old rubber?

How many kms have u driven till now?
Get the tyres changed asap to get the maximum value out of it. More kms u drive with it,the more u lose.

Yokohama AVS sport (15" ) should start from 4.1K per tyre. n ES100 for 3.6K.

I would suggest you look at Michelins Pilot Sport, the Neovas are hard to find.
