I have owned more than a dozen SUVs and these tyres last above 60-70K easily. For a well maintained SUV with timely rotation, balancing and alignment even 90K is not a surprise.
PS: I am talking about all models of Scorpio & Safari, Bolero Di SLX, Pajero SFX, TUV 300 etc.

Re: Flat-spotting on all 4 MRF tyres

Thanks all for your inputs. MRF DM called today to inform that they will be replacing the tyres on a pro rata basis. Had tried escalating through several sources so not sure what worked.

Based on my limited experience (1 SUV & several hatchbacks), average tyre life is not more than 40-50K so I was surprised with 80k w/ the Hexa. Maybe it's normal for SUVs like you say.

36k is def not normal if the originals last 80k. Plus the tyres looked new so I guess better sense prevailed. Now MRF says they will bill the dealer or give him a credit note. Thanks again.
