It's available in sizes 15" & above. The reviews & experiences here have not been very good though.

The price is very good, tyres I'm not so sure about but I think they're without B&W also, do confirm that before purchase.

Yup, they've been here for a while & I think they are there on Goodyear's Indian website too.

4.9K for 225/17's ? Hmm...thats a bit too good if you know what I mean. Look closely at the date of manufacture on them. Also, if they are grey imports, check each tyre carefully. A lot of grey imports are factory rejected tyres.

Which other tyres would one look at in 225/45/17 ? Reasonable price band.

I was quoted 4.4k for 195/55/15 with B&W. 4.9k for 225/45/17 sounds too good to be true. Like Rtech said, pls do the neccessary verifications before buying them.
I was very close to opting for these tyres, but they haven't found much favour on Team BHP. Very highly rated on tirerack etc. but those tests were performed on the roads of US and Europe, so hardly a benchmark for us.
But I am eager to get some more feedback on GSD3's from members. Not too many reviews of it here... only GSD2. Anyone?

I doubt you'll find any of the established companies giving that size tyres at a reasonable price. You could find something in Falken/Kumho/Silverstone though, maybe a grey-market Yokohama also could be available.

Problem is this size is mostly available in high-performance tyre ranges & so they don't come cheap at all.

eeh. You don't consider Falken as an established company? They make some of the best tyres out there, but at an attractive price too. Don't be too quick to discount some of the smaller companies out there.

I have used Falken uni-directional tyres on my Zen & Opel Astra many years back. I had no cause for complain - but I don't see them much any more..

Yea. They don't sell much out here anymore. Guess they must have gone out of style! What's your budget though? Check out the Yokohama range - AVS Sport/ES100. They sell for a reasonable price in the grey and are really good tyres. The GSD3's are not the best and tend to become hard too soon. Read GTO's review on them and you'll get the idea.
