Ooooops,
My bad agree: I meant 205/55/15 or 205/50/16. Thanks for pointing it out have edited the post.

Hi,
You can use 35,38 or even 40 offset. Any of them will do.

this is as simple as its going to get
tyre size 195/60 R15, brand you can decide
Rim should be 6 or 6.5J in 15inch, the offset should be between 38-42 and PCD should be 100
Good luck finding a tyre, rim combo that meets all the above requirements, most dealers dont know what offset is.

my car side view don't know about the rims specs...but it is 7J x 15 for sure

The stock offset for DSM and 3000GT/Stealth wheels is +46mm. That is, the hub mounting surface is 46mm from the centerline of the wheel, and away from the centerline of the car. Changing to a different offset will change several things:- Clearance: Clearance is the primary reason to change offset. For example, on 2G cars, a 225mm wide tire will just fit with the stock offset, leaving about 4mm of clearance to the suspension. This is about the minimum clearance to fit without rubbing, as the tire will flex under cornering. In order to fit a 235mm wide tire on the car, the offset must be adjusted so the tire moves outward, away from the suspension. Since a 235mm tire is 10mm wider than a 225mm tire, it must have an additional 5mm of clearance on the inside. So you need at most a +41mm offset to fit 235's. [...]
- Scrub Radius: Scrub radius is the distance from the point where the steering axis meets the ground, to the center of the contact patch of the tire. Zero scrub radius is desirable. Increasing the scrub radius will result in more kickback through the steering wheel when you hit bumps and increased steering effort.
- Track: Track is the distance from centerline of the right wheel to centerline of the left wheel. Note the front track and rear track may be different. Increasing track will provide more stability during cornering.
- Bearing Load: The bearings in the suspension were designed to take loads within certain angles. Increasing the offset beyond a certain point can severely increase the wear on bearings and suspension components in general. +35mm or maybe +30mm is about the limit for DSM's. If you want to make some money, buy stock in aftermarket companies who make wheel bearings for Hondas, those guys with the wheels sticking way out will be needing some soon.

I think under
Bearing Load, what the author intends is "
Decreasing the offset beyond a certain point....", not "Increasing..." as he has mentioned. But for my Santro, which also has a stock offset of +46 mm, I have fitted a +26 mm offset alloy. This is below the limit of +30 that the author has mentioned for the DSM. My wheel bearings are fine after about 10000 kms of running with these alloys. Have to see the long-term effects on bearings and suspension components. Hope Hyundai has factored in sufficient overdesign on these items.
Guys even i am planning to upgrade to alloys with 195-60-R15 tyres on my swift Vxi ABS, but i have a few queries....
1) Will the ABS work fine after i change the wheels from 14" to 15"??
2) As of now i will go for 195-60-R15 tyres but in future i may upgrade to 205-55-R15 tyres. So what should be rim size i should be looking for??
3) Will 195-60-R15 tyres fit in the boot without any problems or should i modify the boot to accommodate these tyres??
4) Will the FE or pickup or top speed drop after upgrading to 195-60-R15??

Vijay, let's answer your question one by one, shall we:
1. Yes it should work fine.
2. You should be looking at 6.5J since that will work with both the tyre sizes.
3. Yes, they fit fine in the boot, even 205/60 fits in the boot. (Have tried both in a friend's car) But don't fit 205/60 on your car it fouls with the arches under loads.
4. No idea about that, sorry.
