Tyre Change from TyresNMore

Finally decided to change tyres of my Grand i10. Car is passed its 10 years (in Jan 2024) and this is the first time I am changing the tyre.
Odo stands at 48500 kms.

Thought of selecting TyresnMore as the prices quoted by them was almost same as the price at stores (max 150 difference).
Selected MRF 165/65 R14 79H TL ZVTV for INR4,140. I thought its a good price and selected 4 nos.

As I was sceptical about the process, opted for Cash on Delivery.

Process:

1. Got a call from them after 10 mins of booking. Suggested to change the nozzle too (as its 10 years) for 240 per piece.
2. I confirmed to even get the nozzle along with the tyres.
3. After 30 mins, got a call again asking if I am okay with 3 pm to 4 pm, which I stated yes.
4. Shared the location thru whatsapp.
5. Got a call again from the technician at 3.58 pm that he will be delayed by 1 hour or so and he will come by 4.30 pm.
6. Technician came at 4.30 exactly and started the process of changing the tyres.
7. There were 2 people present and the entire process took almost 1.5 hrs.
8. Did a test drive and asked for POS machine, as I intended to pay thru my credit card.
9. He did not had the machine and suggested to make the payment thru an online link.
10. Paid the amount thru online link and got the invoice thru my Whatsapp.

Note: Got a discount of 400 for the old tyre.
Date of Manufacture of 0724 - Hope this should be fine.

Overall, I am super happy and can say that it was hassle free.

How were the wheels balanced if this was serviced at your location?

They had a machine on which the tyre's were mounted and rotated. Later on they did put some clamps on the rim stating that it's for wheel balancing.

Hope this was for wheel balancing only...

Yes, the weights are for balancing only. I hope it was a proper balancing machine. Without a proper balance, you will have a strong vibration at the steering at speeds over 70 KMPH. Hope you checked that in your test drive.

Thanks for sharing the info and experience, do they change tires of bikes / scooters. Because my Car & Scooter are due for getting new sets of tires before onset of rains. And its very convenient if this can be done at home's premises instead of waiting in tire shops for hours.

Re: Tyre Change from TyresNMore

I have had a good experience with TyresNMore here in Hyderabad. I've had tyres changed through them three times, and battery replacement twice. Seamless online purchase wth buy-back discount for the old tyres, very professional technicians, and quick work including wheel balancing done right at my doorstep.

I'd highly recommend their services!

Yes, they even provide service to two wheelers too. You can check on their website.

Have not taken it outside to drive at that speed. Plan to take it to Mysore this Saturday.
Curious question.
If suppose I feel vibration, should I leave it for wheel balancing again?

Re: Tyre Change from TyresNMore

I ordered 4 Vredestein Ultrac Vorti tyres (225/50 ZR17 ) for my Skoda Kushaq from Tyresnmore last evening. They confirmed that the tyres were from the 2024 batch before I placed my order with them. They also shared videos of the tyres via WhatsApp. Paid ₹46,803 for the same including doorstep fitment and balancing of tyres. Was promptly contacted by their service team after payment for booking of time slot for the fitment. Great experience until now with them. The fitment is scheduled for this evening. Will share my experience shortly.

I have used tyresnmore exclusively for, I think, the last 4 tyre changes. No issues with the balancing they do.

The Eeco that they bring is more or less self contained.
