okay i have finally zeroed in on going for the 195 width and not the 205!

and i am kind of thinking about going in for either 195/60-R13 or 195/65-R13

based on brand and availability!, and i think i can fit in 5.5j rims without any problems i guess, as the 6J were not recommended! so now please suggest me the brand and pattern asap as i am going to buy them i a couple of days guys need the inputs ULTRA FAST!

why do u want 13" when u can upsize to 14" same profile....
Get 195/60-14 instead of 195/60-13..

well i want the 13 inch alloys because once the 195 wears out i will still have the option of reverting back to stock size and also it helps in not voiding the warranty!

Your warranty doesnot get void if you install 14inchers.

alright, finally got the alloys and rubber for the viva,
sorry guys i must confess ,i went against the recommendations and took a chance, (dont ask me why i did this crazy thing i just did it).

i went ahead and shifted alloys+rubber from swift LDi to my accent viva crdi, well i was very disappointed and frustrated when swift fishtailed at 70KMPH (with 5 people on board) when i had to do a zigzag, which was inevitable at the moment as a boozo had decided to over take at the Nth minute, and to my utter surprise the car fish-tailed on 195/60-R15 Michelin MXV8 tyres put on 7J alloys.

and it was quite a moment i can never forget, that moment of sudden adrenaline rush and frustration at the same time!, so thats that and at that moment i decided swift is not worth these tyres or alloys.

Just for the testing sake, i tried zigzagging my friend's alto at 50, 60 and 70 kmph and it dint, this further frustrated me.

so put them on my accent viva CRDi. these tyres are 7% bigger than the stock size of accent, and here is my experience after that.

RIDE COMFORT:these tyres give me the feeling of cruising on a steamer boat, compared to the stock bridgestone S322 175/70-R13, i feel i alot alot more comfortable on the pot holes, its really nice.

HANDLING & BRAKING:I can vouch for these babies and every paise i paid for these tyres is justified. i am able to do turns at higher speeds with lesser body roll, the grip is great be it in dry or wet conditions.

THIS ASPECT of BRAKING is the one that has got me thrilled, these tyres dint skid at all when i had to brake hard on the highway because a guy on the bicycle thought he could cross the road when i was like say 100meters away, but at 100KMPH!, thats another story, but they did save my hair, bal bal bache.

when that happened i suddenly felt like the car has "ABS", had it been the stock tyres i am sure the villager on the cycle would have either suffered good injuries or could be dead!

well these tyres are excellent and they fit just fine on the accent!

NOTE: these is this one thing i wanted to share, i had the metal edging inside the side fenders bent just in case they touch the alloys or scrape the side walls of the tyres. VOILA thats it no problems till date.

the car has run 2000 KMS on these tyres and alloys and they just fit in right!.

i was a little busy and had net problems so couldnt post the experience earlier. Hope this helps others and here are a few pictures and i will post more later.

Nice choice of alloys. Accent CRDi in red is one of my favourite cars.
