Run-Flat tyre dealers in Mumbai?

Does anyone know of a tyre shop in Mumbai that would have Dunlop Sport Run Flat tyres?
Have got a bulge come up on mine, hoping it can be repaired? Any sources besides the BMW dealership for these tyre?

Try Premji's or Saifee, they might have them or might be able to procure them.

Will contact Premji and Saifee tomo.

Spoke with Mr.Lalit of Four Season, bmw infinity motors buys and sells tyres through him. He is gonna get to be tomo if he has any in stock, tryin to get hold of one that has be sold to him in exchange for an upgrade.

Was planning to switch over to regular tyres once these wear out, so trying to get a good buy back if possible. Doesnt seem too likely as infinty motors mentioned 6000km drive run flat tyres fetch around only 5000rs !! new tyre cost 19000 !

@ Sanjay - Is Kamlesh located in Mumbai? Whats his store name?

Dear Sahil,

He is the official importer of tyres and is based in Mumbai. Premji and Saifee also source tyres from him.

Bulge on the side wall cannot and should not be repaired. If you change from Run Flat to regular tyres, you will also need to change the rims, which will also make the car feature of tyre sensors on your dash board non operative. ( if your car model has one )

To take care for the future, maintain the air pressure of the tyres so that you do not get the sidewall of the tyres damaged.

Haven't you gotten the maintainence package already? If not, take it up with BMW / Tyre manufacturer. A bulge, so early in the tyres life, should qualify for a free replacement.

unfortunatly its not a manufacturing defect , my dad hit a small ditch on the highway at a high speed. :frustrati

Haven't taken the bsi+r plan yet but even if i did i dont think the tyres are covered especialy when its not a defect.

Trying to source the tyre thru a few shops in bombay but doesnt seem like anyone has stock. Failing which i have to get a new one for 21000 with tax from the dealership!

I have an 80,000rs no claim bonus so not gonna claim for this.

BUT I think I might get sorted with my ideal solution thanks to mad monkey.
Sent the car to international tyres at opera house as they are experienced in repairing run flats in the past. Sumit at said he needs to see the tyre to check damage if it repairable and he diagnosed it is Repairable! So the tyre will be sent tomo for galvanizing repair which will take two days so will let u guys know if it works out.
Repair cost 800 rs but its not about the huge cost diff .I guess its worth the risk of repair as its still is a run flat so if there is a problem in the future it will just bulge again not burst or tear.

Don't use a repaired tyre for full-time use on the car, best to keep it as a spare wheel.

BMWs dont have any spare tires, as they have run flats.

Not the ones equipped with run flats. There is not even a spare wheel well in the 3 series. ...and they want to develop sales in emerging markets
