I would say stick to Yokohama for whatever, apart from the good performance it's reasonably priced too.
Can anyone suggest a good upsize for Baleno? The stock size is 165/80/R13.
Would 195/55/R15 be good enough? What would be the effect on handling and supension?

Whats your requirements? Handling/looks over ride comfort/FE or vice versa?

I have a Baleno too...
Depends on what you like....
Best mix of comfort and Handling : 185/65 R14 (the size I have used for 45k Kms)
Use 195/60 R14 if you want slightly better handling..at the cost of a harsher ride
Use 195/ 55 R 15 ..if you are only into handling..at the expense of ride...
Use other sizes if looks are a criteria (205/50R15 etc et)...while pickup, comfort and FE can await their turn in the next car :)
What would be the best upsize / upgrade for 205/65 R16 running on 16x7J alloys? I do not want to change the alloys.

Hey thanx Prajesh. That was fast. Its for my Nissan Altima. Not too happy with the stock bridgestone tires. Planning to change them in some time. Not decided when though. I had thought of getting Yoko S drives but don't think that size is available. Got to start searching now.

In yokohama u will get AVS dB or DNA dB ES501 in 225/60-16.

Thanx, will go and have a look. Do PP2s come in this size as well?
My Aveo runs on stock 185/60/R14 steel rims currently. I plan to change this to 195/50/R15. Shall I keep the spare stock wheel? If there is a puncture, is there a problem running on three 195/50/R15s and one 185/60/R14 (for short distances perhaps)

Nope but where do you want the tyres, I guess in Dubai, right? Better check with the local dealers, they can offer you much better knowledge about the options available there than we can.

If you intend to only use the spare for short distances in case of a puncture than retaining the stock rim & tyre should do just fine.

Thanks a lot. In that case I will go for only 4 alloys and tyres. Can do a bit of saving here. :thumbs up

Hello guys,
I have a 2005 Getz fitted with 175/70 R13 tires. I have fitted alloys as well. I do not wish to upgrade the alloys but would like to have a wider tyre. Is this possible? I went through the carbible.com website and it says that 185/65 R13 is the best possible upgrade with minimal errors.
Can anyone give the list of tires that come in 185/65 R13 size?? It would be helpful if you could give me the prices also.
