OE tire=145/80r12 for mpfi(4j rim) ,and
145/70r13 (4j rim)for carb zens/carbon and steel


possible upsizes without any mods to the suspensions

anything wider will touch the body.any wider rim will also cause even the stock tires to touch or foul.

Used to have 215/50 R15 on my lancer ...
But u can feel every little stone and bump on the road...
Upgrade to better suspensions if u use those sizes ...

upsize in 14 inch=195/65r14,205/65r14
in 15inch=195/60r15(same OD),205/60r15,205/55r15

if 16 inch can be fitted then,205/50r16.

what is the best upsize for Accent (stock 175/70 R13)?

185/65r13,195/65r13,195/60r13
195/55r14,185/60r14(same od)
also have seen a 195/50r15 (perfect od as OE tires) in a friend's Viva.superb looks ,handling but slightly bad ride.

185/60r14 should be the best of both worlds

Thanks.But these are perfect i feel.The ride quality and handling is good.
A few of my friends have 215/45/17 on their Lancers and IMO,they are really uncomfortable to drive on.
