But kpzen, shouldnt the upsize be like 165/70 R13? Am not sure about this as i havnt come across many of these profile rims and tyres.
Also, Michelin does not have 13 inch in XM1 series.

1. 165/70-13 is a wrong upsize for Alto.
2. I haven't seen any tyre in 165/70-13 size.
3. Michelin does have 13" XM1 starting from 155/65-13.
They are soon going to launch it in 12" too.(I'm told)
Alright kpzen, im sure your right.
On another note, here's the thread i promised to start in my last post on Pg.8 :D
MY THREAD
Thanks for the advice guys! I would stick to the stock size: 185/70/R14. Are B'stone GIIIs fine?

@Xehaust,
I was looking for both upgrade and upsize:)
regards
binoy

Ideal upsize would be 195/65-14 or 195/60-15 as in case of Swift. |

Id suggest you stick to 14 inches and go with the size 195/65 R14 if you want to upgrade as stated by kpzen. |
Guys, I'm finding it very difficult to find the tyres in size 195/65 - 14. Please suggest the available options. I only know of Potenza GIII and that too is not readily available, with some dealers saying that it is out of production.
Also, wanted to know about Yoko A-Drives. How are they in terms of grip and comfort? And if they are available in the aforementioned size?
thanks!
Car - Swift ZXi
Had Company supplied JK Vectras in 185/70/R14 with stock alloys till 42000 kms.
Now upsized to Yokohama "S" Drives in 205/55/R15 on 6.5x15", Offset-40 HR Alloys.
Absolutely no issues! A clean upsize for Swifts!
cheers!

Hey Ashutosh, i thought you were going in for 185/70 R14, the stock size?
Im sure you will have more options in this size than 195/65 R14.
195/65 R14 is a rather rare size IMO.
I feel Yoko and Michelin are good brands.
Hey guys,
What is the right upgrade for Zen Estilo and also tell me the best mag wheels + tyres and prices also!
Thanx
Hey BM Desai,
For the last time, i would like to mention "PLEASE POST YOUR ORIGINAL TYRE SIZE" when asking for suggestions. The Alloys depend on your choice, design wise.
A word of advice here: Never just look at the design and buy the alloys, but instead ask the dealer to fit one on your car and see how it looks before buying.
As for the tyres, i would suggest Michelin or Yokohama. The size i would be able to suggest after you post the original size.
Xehaust - For the original tyre size you can use the excel attachement in the "Tyre Upgrade" article thread.
Thanks for the tip :thumbs up

I think only GIIIs and Goodyear Eagle Ventura are available in 195/65-14.
A drives are there in 195/60-14 (wrong upsize). I'm not sure if 195/65-14 A drives are available in India at the moment. Ishan any idea??
Hi Team,
I know you guys are doing a splendid job in answering each others queries ...in the same way I have 1 such query today :).
I have a Accent GLS 2002 model which Iam very much in love with and it needs a tyre change very soon, its got the stock tyres 175/70 R13. I have these tyres fitted on 13inch Alloys. I need to upgrade these to something that would give good looks for the Car , good driving quality and braking. Is this possible for me to achieve by changing the tyre size ? If yes then which brand would be the best for the Indian Road?
Thanks for your time guys.
Cheers,
Peter.
Peter
Do u plan to upsize the alloys from 13"?? or u just want to get wider/better tyres on the existing alloys.
