Re: Ling Long & other Chinese Tyres: Any Reviews?

Hi all,

My father recently bought a used Verna and it came with Vitour Galaxy tyres.
Has anyone know about the brand and these tyres are dependable?

Ling Long is commonly used in the UK market. Have seen quite a few SUV's using the tire when I was in London. It seems to be good. International market reviews available on google

Re: Ling Long & other Chinese Tyres: Any Reviews?

It completely depends on your preferences. If you are a person with low cost preference then these Chinese tyres are fine. I have always failed to make some personalities understand about the ride comfort, reduced noise etc. of Michelin tyres which I am using for past 45,000 kms. For them, any tyre is the same, and a tyre is better if it can cover more kilometers in its lifetime.

People used to call me stupid when I tell them I threw away Accelera tyres (Indonesian make, Rs.3200/tyre) in 14,000 kms with lot of thread left, and went for costly Michelins (Rs.5900/tyre). The tyre noise of Accelera was very irritating, and I hated those drives. Will I ever go for a Chinese tyre again? I would say 'NEVER EVER', provided my financial situation stays healthy
