Hello All !

After a lot of time & effort, I have finally been in a position to get what I liked & it 'works' on the car - flawlessly !
I am satisfied.

Great looking car bro! i saw this at 4seasons when i was getting wheels for my Audi. Great choice Lalit Jogani knows his stuff!! definately had great customer service and was satisfied with the outcome with my car. anyways i totally drooled over your car it looks awesome what else did you get done since i saw the car their for almost a week.

Btw how wide are the wheels because they look stretched im guessing its a 17x7.5 or a 17x8?

Damn dude! Those are really sweet rims! I thought to myself that nothing looks as good on a polo as the rims used on the polocup cars , these look awesome!

What do they retail at?!

Wow! great rims Bhagwan! was trying to get hold of the polo cup racer alloys myself but had to give that search up. Was trying to get the dealer to swap the polo wheels with the jetta rims which are 16'' alloys & 205/55 tyres but was told that would void the warranty??!! So finally have decided to keep the rims and change to a wider 205/60 tyres... but those 17 inchers just look fabulous. The dealer also told me that the polo rims along with the tyres costs Rs.105,000??!!

anyways delivery of my pepper gray polo 1.6 is in june so plenty to time to keep looking.... enjoy your ride dude!

Bhagwan, really excellent rims on the polo.

A quick question. A profile of 40, isn't that too low and how is the ride quality.

Won't that put a lot of pressure on the Suspensions??

And those Continentals must be giving amazing grip now.
As the others have asked, has the ride quality been compromised too much?
What other upgrades have you done?

OT: I am assuming the work on the ICE is complete.

Sir,
The car was there for 3 + weeks.
I had the ICE done.
It is almost finished.
Also the K & N Air Intake was done

The Rims are 17X8 - yes a bit wide.
17X7.5J would have been perfect.

Rims + Tyres - Sparco Pista 17X8J + Continental Contact Sport Extreme DW 215.40.17 = Rs. 130/- K [a bit steep for me] !

[this is for the cost] !

Forget the Alloys;
The Tyre is superb !
Excellent Rubber !!

She drives really well.
The VW's suspension is below par - too soft for my taste, so the sooner I get the 'bigger' & 'stronger' suspension / coil overs in place - the better !

You have mentioned lots of great things;

If you can get for me the VW Polo Cup Alloys + Tyres @ Rs. 105/- K [I will confirm - right now] !! Those rims are light weight / race quality forged - I would love to have them @ 105/- K
If you have 'axcess' to VW Polo Cup Gear, I want their suspension too, can we talk about this ? Please...

The Indian D & D do not know their head from their butt !! They only know 1 word - warranty void - they need some help - shrinks - please do offer your services !!

The Jetta Alloys will not fit on the Polo.
The Jetta is 112.5 PCD & the Polo is 100 PCD.
So except for the old skoda octavia RS Alloys, we do not have any choice.

Globally, the VW has the 17" Alloy as a factory fitting option, here they sell the junk MS Rim & if you change they go on and on about Warranty Void !! Really sick persons they are...

The 40 profile is perfect.
That is what VW Polo recommends for its Polo in Europe for 17" Alloys. So I just followed those instructions.

The Suspension is messed in the VW.
They [VW] have 'designed' the suspension for Indian Roads & Apollo [cycle] Tyres.
They are very soft [suspension]
The suspension callot take this tyre / rim size.
I need to get coil overs asap....
Just need to find the right one & get it !

Suspension + Brakes + ECM [all are O/S] !

Thanks for the compliments;

Potholes - I am not so sure if I need to be 'careful' of those.
These Alloys were made by OZ for Sparco & are used in Junior WRC.
They are 'heavy & strong' manufactured for 'rugged use'
Therefor I chose these over the OZ Ultra Legera [those are very fragile] !

The only problem I will face is with the suspension - that is really the pits !!
