Recently a 1958 190 SL Mercedes surfaced near Bangalore, adding to the number of this "beauty" (how I hate our collection cars refereed to like this) in India. Mumbai still has the maximum no. Unbelievable, this car has sat idle on blocks for about 40 years, all complete, no corrosion, but needing paint, upholstry and a good mechanical overhaul.
Colour was light blue, she has a new owner who will hopefully rstore her to glory.
Unfortunately no picture is available, but then we all know what a 190 SL looks like.

my s-class w140 is a 1995 model S280 in-line 6 cylinder , with automatic transmission and right hand drive.

Mercedes Benz issues a magazine in German called "In aller welt". They covered Rajasthan, used a Pune registered big black GL 350 CDI 4 MATIC SUV. They encountered that blue fin tail Merc we already know about. What took me by surprise is that the car is described as a 108. Maybe the Pune journalists-guys do not know the difference, but the editorial should have caught this.

this morning , this w116 ex-CM mercedes was auctioned for Rs 5.55 lacs by the karnataka government! 1977 model, LHD , manual transmission , 280SE

'CAB 9' was used by chief minister gundu rao and visiting VIPs including Indira Gandhi . body painted originally in dark blue colour and cabin of blue leather upholstry.

This car had disappeared, never knew the govt still had it. Wish I knew about the auction

Hi everyone,I am following this thread for quite sometime as a guest.Gone through every page and absolutely love the way the classic merecedes are restored and taken care of.

There is a petrol bunk opposite to Mysore road satellite bus stop,with about 4 to 5 classic mercedes and few other classics an oldsmobile and a chevy impala.

I have also seen a new green colored fintailed mercedes with MSY registration (not sure though) for almost 2 months now.Does this place belong to any TeamBhpian??Has anybody checked this out??

This does look german as per the rear suspension. The most probable would be a Merc around 1936/37 mostly a 320 by the size. welcome to correction

Both the cars have a boot style rear while the one posted is sloping.
