Indeed it is, thankfully the damage was minimal and easily replacable.

I am happy to tell you I purchased this car from my dear friend some time back.

As she is 72 registered, I will be restoring this car to 72 Delight specifications, which means different 'President' style wheelcaps (I have 1, looking for 3) and black single piece meter. Whenever her turn comes that is!

Karl, do you have any updates on the restoration? Please post some pictures if possible. A premiere padmini was the first car i ever owned, so it would always be close to my heart.

The car remains more or less as she looks in the older pics, barring some additional corrossion. Her number is yet to come!

FYI since I now have a '72 as well, she will be restored back to stock specs.

Is it that "President blue"ish one with a roof rack, which you saved from the scrappers?? Pune reg'd but found in B'bay? One-owner car (although 2nd owner in RC book? )
