Should be a 1946 Cadillac. The building was identified as the Cochin Huzur Cutchery.

Screen grabs from Merryland produced movie - Ponkathir(1953)/Irulukku pin. Note the TCT series registration. Looks like the movie was filmed in and around Trivandrum city. This movie was Prem Nazir's fourth movie.

It is indeed a Crown and most likely part of the Tourism Department fleet of the eighties

Dr. Louis kulangara imported it from US in 1965.

KLE6886 Chevrolet Impala SS 1965.From 1973 to 1986 This was owned by K.P. Poulose a contractor from Kolencherry. Owner of paulson tourist home Ernakulam. The driver in the snap is joy son of mr. Pappachan Kezhilam. It was 6 cylinder petrol engine then changed to kirloskar diesel engine. Current where abouts unknown.
