Ahhhh beautiful pictures mate, took me back in time. Just wish my family would have kept some of the oldies -- had several gifted from Maharaja of Jodhpur because we were the "Rajpurohit" at the Mehrangarh Fort .. Thanks for posting the beauties.

I got these pics off an orkut album for the same event. It appears to be an imported SX 150, and if Im not mistaken, this very scooter used to belong to a well known Lambretta mechanic in Pune and was parked everyday on MG road, where I would often admire it as a primary school boy. It was one of 3 identical scoots that I would see everyday on my way to school. The other 2 still survive in Pune, one in daily use.

Yes you are correct. On close verification, the Lamby which you have uploaded is the same which participated in the " Heritage Drive to Neemrana Fort Palace ". I am uploading a photograph of the flag off where you can see the Lambretta, the registration numbers match.

Oh you have no idea. Of the 3 SX scoots Id see everyday, one was owned by the school Catholicism teacher, whom I'd never get a chance to meet. His son was in my class, and no amount of pestering would let me come home to have a closer look at the scoot.

Didn't you send me pics. of this scoot once? It'd been partially stripped apart at a mechanic's for restoration, but never got completed?
'hope it isn't still in the same state??
