A vintage collection

i recently visited mahindra and mahindra factory for an industrial visit from our college, when we were about to leave the factory we saw an amazing collection of vintage cars in a garrage inside the factory.
i saw 1960 impala (LHD), desotto, plymouth fury, an old mercedes truck, dodge, pontiac and many other cars.
i presently have some pictures check this out.

Hey Syed where these beauties lying in M&M or where they at the adjacent M.G.Automotives factory? M.G. does the body work for M&M and I remember seeing an extensive collection of Classics there prior to my TeamBHP days.

syedhafeez thanks for shareing. I did not have a clue of Mahindra having such beauties tucked away. The cars look well maintained and i running order. I wonder how none of them have seen Bombay roads till now, considering the owner stays here. The 40's caddilac is most interesting to me atleast. i wonder how the windscreen has a hole in it.

Great pics Syed. Thanks for sharing the pics with us. I did not know that the company or its owners had a collection like that but I suppose you have taken their permission for posting the pics, lest they they object. This im saying because most of us were ignorant about their Classic Car collection, till now.

@ Mods :- could we please edit the post to remove the name. Maybe call it a private collection instead of naming the owner. In that way everyone's happy and no ones complaining.

Behrambhai, your comments on this collection please.

Well, as he said, these are at the ZAHEERABAD M & M, which is closer to Hyderbad - Behram's been there on work trips many times, via Hyderabad.

Note: Since the location/ownership of these cars has been mentioned so clearly, is it still necessary to blank out the numberplates?

That Fury and the 49 Caddy have attended a rally in Pune some years back. The Fury has monstrous tail fins if I remember right.

Dear Gogibhai - the owner is my college friend. The cars are there for many years. It is a personal collection. There are many more, all have not been photographed. There are a couple of trucks also.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar
