Is it so?
Okies here you go with the two pedal propelled car & scoot! I think that Scoot was sold out, have to check with him for the car.
That Lamby seems to be a KERALA registered one ... is it okay for you?

& seems that car doesn't have papers .

A Jodhpur Miniature

For my 500th post, thought I would engage in a wee bit of fantasy

Not a "pedal" car by any stretch of the imagination......... A Lea-Frances perhaps ?

"Mustang" was my first set of wheels. Pedal powered, with battery operated lights and a horn, and mechanical steering. Real tyres on the wheels. Chrome bumpers with over riders. And note the rear "tailfins" !
Oooh, did I love her !!
Wow! I had the exact same one in red when I was a kid. Really loved it. Took the rubber off the tires and ran it on bare metal for some drifting manoeuvers. Remember giving it a paint job when it got old too. Thanks for that pic. Brought back some fond memories.

To start with i am posting my VW Beetle - late 60's model - yellow pedal car - for everyone to see and comment. This is a complete metal body on a metal chassis with high quality bumpers and lights made up of plastic. It would be wonderful to see other Pedal cars too.
Very Good looking Pedal Bug, 67bug.

From where did you get this from ? how much it costed ? if you can share the details it would be great.

I was looking for buying one.

This is not a pedal car, its powered probably by a Villiers engine.
This image was used by Cartier during the first show in 2008, and this image is widely spread among dealers selling maharaja stuff.
A similar Rytecraft car once participated in a vintage car rally in Mumbai. It had come from either Kolkata or from somewhere in Rajasthan. As far as I can recall, it was a vehicle with road registration, and was being driven by a well built gent.

This is an image of a pedal car taken in the 1960's, picture was sourced near Madurai.

Cheers harit

Re: Pedal Cars

Neither India, nor probably a "Pedal" car.

But I had to post the picture for its sheer elegance.....

The future Sultan of Morocco with Panhards ca 1930 (courtesy The Newyorker). Wonder why he looks so sad ?

Re: Pedal Cars

Recently this car sold at a online auction for almost 2 lakh rupees. It supposedly has a royal background. From the grill profile it looks like a Packard to me.
