Hi everyone!
This is my first post on Team-bhp and I'm excited to share with you all that "I Booked my" 2012 Mercedes-Benz C220 CDI Avantgarde in cuprite brown color!!

This was done at the Autohangar showroom, Andheri, in the last week of February, just before the new budget came out! I got a really good offer from Autohangar that I couldn't refuse

The dealer has thrown in free of cost plastic floor mats, car cover and a few goodies on becoming a Mercedes-Benz owner.

The car is available in stock but as we Indians believe in getting good things on an auspicious day, I am waiting until next month (MAY) and bring the Benz home!

The registration, insurance and inspection has been done and I've also checked the car personally in daylight as well as under a shade... This, is an important tip for all the new buyers to check for any minor damages for cars with dark colors.

I'll post some pictures when I get the official delivery and then maybe even write an initial owner's report

Hi Dine, congrats.
Yes; mine has walnut interiors. When I did PDI, the car had 46 Kms in the odo and when I took delivery it was 110 kms(reign was at poonamallee).

500 Kms for a new car is unusual. Please check the VIN no as XUV shouldn't not be more than a month old.
Which dealer is it ? and please check why has the car run 500 Kms. Take delivery if you are satisfied with their answers.

It's from MPL and I had rejected their offer. It was Jan 13 make and they must have used as a test drive.
The new stock has arrived today and will go for PDI this weekend.

I was offered corporate discount for 8K & 5K for accessories.
How about your offers ? I'm planning to do insurance from outside.

Good decision to have rejected the Jan make.
On discounts - I too got Rs. 8000 as corporate discounts and Rs. 5000 worth accessories free which included the floor mats which was forced to me ( however I don't use them).

I will be getting delivery of the xuv this Thursday! The only thing which was free was the "waiver" of handling charges which was around 3500. Planning to get accessories from Bangalore as its much cheaper compared to Kerala.

It would be better if you also mention the 75k cash discount that you said you got in the other thread.
Also what is the current OTR of the Cruze AT. Adding 75k to the amount you have mentioned takes it to 19.5L OTR. Thats quite a lot. I remember it costing around 16.5 OTR just a year and half back. Quite a bit of price hike in less than 2 years.
