2019 Ducati Scrambler 800 launched from Rs. 7.89 lakh

Ducati has launched its updated Scrambler 800 range in India. The Scrambler Icon, Full Throttle, Cafe Racer and Desert Sled are priced at Rs. 7.89 lakh, Rs. 8.92 lakh, Rs. 9.78 lakh and Rs. 9.93 lakh (ex-showroom, India) respectively.

The updated Scrambler gets a new headlight with daytime running light, auto-off LED indicators, new switchgear and a new instrument cluster. The bike comes with a new flat seat and adjustable clutch lever. According to Ducati, the Scrambler also gets a revised suspension setup and is now offered with Bosch Cornering ABS. Ducati Multimedia System with Bluetooth connectivity is also available.

The Scrambler Cafe Racer gets Ducati 125GP Desmo inspired livery. It comes with Silver Ice Matt graphics with blue frame. It has aluminium bar-end mirrors, dual exhausts, nose fairing, stubby mudguard and lateral number holder sporting the number 54.

The Scrambler Desert Sled gets a red frame, new seat with colour-coordinated stitching, headlight mesh guard, high mudguards, engine skid plate and 19-inch spoked wheels with black rims. The Desert Sled features an Off-Road riding mode that allows the rider to disengage the ABS. It rides on 46 mm adjustable Kayaba upside down fork suspension at the front. 

Scrambler Icon is available in two new colour options - Atomic Tangerine and 62 yellow, both with black frame, black seat and grey rims.

Powering the new Ducati Scrambler range is an 803cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that produces 72 BHP @ 8,250 rpm and 67 Nm @ 5,750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch.
