2022 Honda BR-V globally unveiled

The all-new (2022) Honda BR-V is based on the N7X concept showcased by the brand earlier this year.

Honda has globally unveiled the 2022 BR-V. The all-new (2022) Honda BR-V is based on the N7X concept showcased by the brand earlier this year. The new 7-seater SUV will go on sale in Indonesia first, before expanding to other international markets as well.

The design of the new Honda BR-V is very similar to its concept version. The SUV comes with sleek LED headlamps upfront with integrated LED DRLs. The side profile is minimalistic with just the large multi-spoke alloy wheels and the roof rails while the rear comes with a wrap-around LED taillight and a roof spoiler integrated on the top of the tailgate.

On the inside, the new Honda BR-V comes with a new cabin layout, packed with a host of features, tech and other equipment. This includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 4.2-inch TFT display in the instrument cluster, engine start/stop switch, remote lock/unlock function and a host of other driver-assist technology.

The 2022 Honda BR-V comes powered by the brand's 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, which also does duty on the new City sedan. The engine produces 121 BHP and 145 Nm and is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT transmission.

The new SUV will be offered in four variants: S, E, Prestige and Prestige with Honda SENSING. Prices for the 2022 Honda BR-V, however, are yet to be revealed.
