2022 Yamaha MT-10 globally revealed

Internationally, it competes with motorcycles such as the Honda CB1000R and Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS.

Yamaha has revealed the 2022 MT-10 for the international markets. The latest model of the litre-class naked motorcycle is more powerful than its predecessor.

Powering the 2022 Yamaha MT-10 is the familiar 998cc, CP4 engine that now features new internal parts. As a result, the power figure has increased from 158 BHP to 164 BHP. The changes in the engine have also resulted in enhanced fuel efficiency. As for the torque, it has increased from 111 Nm to 112 Nm.

Yamaha has also worked to improve the exhaust note of the 2022 MT-10. The company has used a new titanium exhaust and also implemented changes to the air intake system.

The 2022 Yamaha MT-10 comes equipped with dual headlamps accompanied by LED DRLs, a single-piece seat, 4.2-inch full-colour TFT display, fully adjustable KYB rear shock, 43 mm fully adjustable KYB front forks and radial master cylinder from Brembo.

As for the electronic rider aids, there are 4 riding modes, engine brake control, cornering ABS, slide control system, cornering traction control, wheelie control, quick-shifter and Yamaha’s variable speed limiter.
