Honda has unveiled the third-generation HR-V. The crossover is also known as the Vezel in some markets.

It has a coupe-like roofline with the door handles for the rear doors positioned on the C-pillars. The rear features slim tail lamps with U-shaped brake lights and an LED light bar that stretches across the width of the tail gate.

On the inside, the new HR-V gets a sleek looking dashboard with a floating touchscreen infotainment head-unit in the centre and a conventional twin-pod instrument cluster. The crossover is equipped with features such as automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, hands-free tailgate and heated seats.

The HR-V also gets Honda Sensing safety tech, which includes collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection and avoidance, collision mitigation braking, lane hold assist and traffic sign recognition.

In the global markets, the HR-V will be offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine and dual-motor petrol-electric hybrid powertrain in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configuration.
