4th-gen Honda City scores 4-stars in Global NCAP crash tests

The Honda City scored 12.03 points for adult occupant protection and 38.26 points for child safety.

The fourth-generation Honda City has been awarded a 4-star safety rating by Global NCAP. The car scored 12.03 points for adult occupant protection and 38.26 points for child safety.

According to the test report, the City offered good protection to the head and neck of the front occupants. The driver’s chest had marginal protection and the passenger’s chest had adequate protection. The driver’s and passenger’s knees had marginal protection. The driver tibias had adequate and good protection, while the passenger’s tibias had adequate protection. The bodyshell and footwell area was rated as stable.

The child seat for the dummy of a 3-year-old offered good protection to the head and chest, but limited protection to the neck. The child seat for the dummy of a 1.5-year-old offered good protection to the chest and head.

The test vehicle was equipped with dual front airbags, ABS, seatbelt reminders and ISOFIX.
