4th-gen Kia Carnival spotted completely undisguised in India

The India-spec Carnival looks identical to the one available in the international market.

The fourth-generation Kia Carnival has been spotted testing in India. As you can see from the latest spy images, the test mule was completely undisguised.

The latest iteration of the Carnival was showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo, in the form of the Kia KA4. The MPV is expected to be launched in the Indian market later this year.

The India-spec Carnival looks identical to the one available in the international market. It has a wide grille with vertically stacked LED headlamps and L-shaped LED DRLs, while the rear features L-shaped LED taillights connected by an LED light bar.

Carnival gets several changes on the interior as well. It gets dual 12.3-inch displays for the digital instrument cluster and the touchscreen infotainment system. It also comes with a rear seat entertainment package, ADAS, a head-up display and 8 airbags. The MPV comes in 7, 9 and 11-seater configurations.

In India, the Kia Carnival is expected to be offered with the same 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with an automatic transmission as the old model. The MPV is likely to be assembled locally using CKD kits.
