Advice needed: Tracking down a vintage Jaguar & Dodge

During the 1930-70s, my great-grandfather imported several cars to Bangalore, most notably a Jaguar and a Dodge. I've been trying to track these cars down for a while now.

During the 1930-70s, my great-grandfather imported several cars to Bangalore, most notably a Jaguar and a Dodge. I've been trying to track these cars down for a while now, but haven't had an easy time doing so, due to the lack of pictures available and accurate timeline. Would greatly appreciate some help from more educated individuals!

Here's what BHPian condor had to say on the matter:

It would be awesome if you could find these again !

However you have not provided any details. Even if this is due to not having any with you, it is going to be very very difficult to search. If you have read other similar threads, folks have suggested going to the RTO (thru agents etc), but in each case, people at least had the old registration number with them. Or may be the person it was sold to.

All the best in your search.

Here's what BHPian RedTerrano had to say on the matter:

Besides the RTO/mParivahan suggestion above, logically there should only be a handful places which service these old ladies. Maybe those could be a good starting point for your research.

Pune has a vintage car/bike rally held regularly. Is there any similar activity in/around Bengaluru? If yes, that could be another source.

Best of luck in your research. Hope you find what you are looking for.

PS. Don't forget to share the pics when you do.
